The 2-year-old classroom is a very exciting place to be. The children are beginning to learn to play with their friends rather than just play next to them. Their vocabulary is increasing; however not always fast enough to express everything they have to say. They are becoming more aware of themselves. It is often the age where toilet training happens. Simple problem solving skills are fostered here with puzzles, beads, play dough, blocks and art. The day is built around developmentally appropriate activities that nurture and encourage their development.

Teachers:

• Miss Amy has worked at MCLC since January 2012.   She holds a Bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock in Elementary Education. She has taught kindergarten as well as had experience working with Infants and Toddlers.
• Miss Hope joined MCLC in January 2012.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Gannon University.  She also holds a Master's Degree in Special Education from Mercyhurst University.
