Jean Himes, Director

Miss Jean has been a teacher for 20 years, spending 14 of those years as a director at a large preschool. Early Childhood Education is her passion. She feels it is very exciting to be part of instilling a strong foundation and a love of learning in a child.

She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Social Services.

She has three grown children she raised with her husband. One lives in Baltimore, one is in Pusan, South Korea and one lives here in Erie. In addition she has one grandson.

Dana Neff, Assistant Director

Miss Dana has been working at MCLC since 2000. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education from Edinboro University. She worked in the green room for 8 years as well as taking on the roll of Assistant Director in 2002.

Dana is married and currently has 2 young children attending MCLC. Ryan and Zachary both love coming to school each day.

Dana believes in creating a fun and loving environment for children to explore. She wants the children to feel at home, and supported while they are here.
